Richard Leonard vows to stay on as Scottish Labour leader amid calls to resign

Richard Leonard said people calling for him to step down as the leader of the Scottish Labour Party have "underestimated" his resolve and his level of support among party members.

When asked about low polling numbers ahead of the next Scottish elections, he said there "will be a reckoning" for the SNP’s record on COVID-19.

He remained committed to opposing Scottish independence.
