Biden calls for police to be charged over Jacob Blake shooting as he visits Kenosha

Joe Biden spoke to Jacob Blake and his family during his visit to Kenosha, where the unarmed black man was shot in the back seven times by police.

The Democratic candidate said Mr Blake told him he "was not going to give up", even if he could never walk again.

It follows Donald Trump’s visit to the Wisconsin city on Tuesday, underscoring the state’s importance in the election campaign.
